Model Evaluation
I am taking a machine learning course and have reached the topic of model evaluation. I understand that we need to check how well a model works, but the different scores confuse me. While looking for simple explanations, I found Machine learning coursework help. Should I learn each score through a small example? How do I know which measure is useful for a certain problem? I would like to understand the idea instead of memorizing formulas. What study method helped you make model evaluation easier to understand?

The Model Evaluation discussion shows why scores can feel confusing when they are learned only as formulas. I once memorized several measures but still did not know when to use each one. I looked into do my exam during a busy study period, but using small examples helped me understand what each score actually tells us. Comparing results from simple problems made model evaluation much easier to remember.
